Erin K. Tanner graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. She started her career working with adjudicated youth by providing them with group and individual counseling in a placement setting in Western PA. She gained diverse experience in the world of psychiatric pharmaceuticals by attending medication checks with these youth and developing their treatment plans to work in conjunction with their medications and psychotherapy. Her next move was to gain even further experience in the counseling world as a family-based therapist right here in the Harrisburg area, working with families to manage children with mental health diagnoses to find stability and hope that they could keep at risk children from being placed out of the home. During this time she continued to increase her knowledge of psychiatric drugs by attending psychiatric appointments with the families. Erin then worked as a Program Director helping adults with intellectual disabilities to maintain fulfilling and productive lives, coordinating both their physical and mental health needs. Erin gained great experience in the medical field as she saw first hand how the over use of pharmaceuticals and improper treatment plans could negatively impact individuals whose voice often goes unheard. Now as the Executive Case Manager for Feather Law Group she combines her background in counseling with her medical knowledge to help those who have been harmed by defective products or drugs to seek the compensation they deserve. She is committed to helping those people who have been left vulnerable after their injuries in dealing with the complex world of medicine and pharmaceuticals. Her background makes her the perfect fit to help you to understand what is happening with your case and to make sense of the medical jargon, as well as to be supportive to the sensitive issues you may be facing in dealing with your personal injury lawsuit.
